Location: The Learning Experience – Ledgewood, NJ
Pay: $17–$18 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Ledgewood is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Daycare Teacher to join our growing team. If you enjoy working with young children and creating a safe, engaging environment where they can learn, explore, and thrive, we'd love to meet you.
As a Daycare Teacher, you'll help children develop important social, emotional, language, and cognitive skills through hands-on activities, purposeful play, and meaningful interactions. Every day is an opportunity to make a lasting impact during a child's most important years of development.
What You'll Do
- Create a warm, welcoming classroom where children feel safe and supported
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play
- Support children's language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Supervise daily routines including meals, outdoor play, rest time, and classroom transitions
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
- Follow all New Jersey licensing regulations and center health and safety standards
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in a daycare, childcare center, preschool, or early childhood education setting preferred
- Passion for working with young children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
