Salary Range: $16.00 Hourly

Job Shift: DayLooking for a self-motivated individual that throughout the day will almost continuously wash trucks and trailers.  As a food distributor, ensuring the sanitation of inside the trailers for the next load is critical for food safety, and a clean exterior helps with promoting the company.  You will work in a fast-paced yard with a short turnaround time for getting Trucks and Trailers ready to go back on the road and have the opportunity for overtime as well!
Work Hours:  Mon-Fri,  6am – 5pm (general schedule)
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Wash Bay Duties (Primary Focus)
- - Washing out trailers
- - Wash tractors and trailers
- - Wash any parts needed for repairs
- - Act as back-up shag driver when needed
- Fuel Driver Duties (Secondary Duties)
- - Drive trucks and trailers to and from the Fuel Island in a safe and efficient manner, to include both manual and automatic transmissions
- - Fuel trucks and trailers
- - Review trucks/trailers for repair needs and document such needs
- - Thoroughly and accurately perform all required record keeping, most of which is done electronically
- - Park in correct location when completed
Physical & Environmental Aspects:
- The ability to frequently crawl in/out of trucks and trailers
- Exposure to extreme weather conditions at times
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Able to work independently
- Reliable
- Some computer experience required
- Able to drive an automatic and manual transmission in heavy duty trucks
- CDL license preferred

Required Education:
- High school or equivalent
