Job Description

Abound Health is seeking a Day Program Support Staff member to join our Day Program team in Raleigh, North Carolina. Reporting to the Director, this role involves assisting with client schedules, ensuring safety during activities, and supporting personal hygiene needs as required. The Instructional Support Staff will also help maintain facility cleanliness and sanitation, following company policies and infection control guidelines, and will document clients' progress toward their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Transportation: Drive participants to and from the facility safely, ensuring all transportation safety protocols are followed.
• Instructional Support: Provide tailored, individualized support to participants during group and individual instructional activities.
• Safety & Supervision: Monitor client safety continuously during classroom activities, community outings, and transitions throughout the daily schedule.
• Daily Living Assistance: Support personal hygiene and self-care activities as needed to help clients master daily living tasks.
• Facility Care & Compliance: Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility in strict accordance with licensure guidelines, company policies, and infection control standards.
• Goal Documentation: Implement, track, and document clients' progress toward goals and objectives outlined in their person-centered treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of full-time experience working with the population served.
• Valid Driver's License and safe driving record.
• Reliable and safe transportation, with current auto insurance.

Education:

• GED or High School Diploma.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base pay is determined by factors such as work location, experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, total compensation may include various other forms of pay. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive health, dental, and wellness benefits, which begin on your 60th day of employment. $1,000 signing bonus paid in 3 installments when averaging 20+ hours/week
