To achieve this, we have developed The Globe® Pulsed Field System – we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.
We have obtained FDA approval and officially begun the commercial launch of the Globe® Pulsed Field System. This is a pivotal and exciting time in our journey, as we bring this life-changing technology to patients!
In this role, you will be joining Kardium’s Facilities team, working to support general housekeeping duties during the workday, while our third-party janitorial contractor is responsible for the nightly office and warehouse cleaning.
Please note, this opportunity is an onsite work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC, with a shift schedule of Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Meaningful work you will be a part of
Your responsibilities will include:
• Clean and tidy employee lunchroom kitchens and beverage kitchenettes including:
◦ Cleaning and servicing coffee machines and water coolers
◦ Cleaning fridges and stocking beverages
◦ Loading and unloading dishwashers
◦ Cleaning microwaves and other small kitchen appliances
• General tidying of meeting rooms (including arranging furniture), printer stations, and janitor rooms.
• Order and stock janitorial supplies.
• Spot-clean washrooms, offices, and warehouse areas as needed.
• Follow-up with the external janitorial company on any quality control issues.

You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes:
• Experience in using cleaning equipment, materials, and solutions.
• Ability to adhere to stringent cleaning standards with attention to detail.
• Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment or healthcare setting is desired.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Dependable, independent, flexible, and has a positive, “can-do” attitude.
• Able to physically perform janitorial duties, including lifting up to 20 kg, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Compensation
Kardium has listed the total cash compensation range (base salary + 5% Retirement Savings Plan contribution) that we expect to pay applicants for this role, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. For candidates with more or less experience than listed above, the pay range will be adjusted.
As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium’s stock option plan.
• $22.00 - $26.00 (CAD hourly)
