Encyclis Newhurst Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) is adjacent to the M1 Motorway at Shepshed, Leicestershire and just 30 minutes from both Leicester and Nottingham city centres.
This stunning single-line facility, which has been operational since 2023, has the capacity to process 350,000 tonnes of residual waste per year, diverting it from landfill, while generating sufficient electricity to power 80,000 homes.

Our Day Operators play a very important part in ensuring the facility functions day to day.
They are the fantastic individuals who ensure waste deliveries happen effectively and efficiently throughout the day, so that we have the waste material we need to burn and generate electricity.

This is a shift position, working on a rotational basis with a mixture of early, middle and late shifts between the hours of 6:30am - 10pm.
There will be requirement for an occasional Saturday shift to be worked, on a rotational basis.
