The Coordinator of Day Habilitation at our Elba site provides day to day management and coordination of the program.

WHAT IS ARC GLOW?

WHAT WOULD I BE DOING?
• Develop and coordinate curriculum for program participants
• Develop, write, update, and implement Staff Action Plans and safeguards to people supported.
• Communicate with families, internal departments and outside agencies to coordinate services.
• Interview, supervise, and evaluate program employees and assist in further development of skills.
• Maintains schedule of employees and services provided.
• Ensure documentation is completed and in accordance with agency, OPWDD, Medicaid and other funder requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A VOCATIONAL SPECIALIST II:
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, 2 years’ experience in the I/DD field, and previous supervisory experience required
• This position requires a valid NYS driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as determined by Arc GLOW.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills.
