
Position Requirements
Anesthesiologist opportunity to support our busy hospital-based practice in White Plains, NY. White Plains Hospital is the most awarded and fastest growing hospital in Westchester County - just north of NYC. It’s renowned programs and services provide a wide breadth of specialized surgical care supported by the anesthesiology department. Operations and surgical procedures are performed solely by attendings allowing for exceptional efficiency. The primary mission of this not-for-profit healthcare organization is to provide compassionate, high-quality healthcare and preventive medical care to people in the Westchester County area. Our practice provides anesthesia services for a diverse case mix at White Plains Hospital and five Ambulatory Surgery Centers in the area. Recent enhancements include a Night Float Anesthesiologist for Labor and Delivery as well as a low frequency of overnight call. We have a vibrant and energetic group composed of 45 anesthesiologists and 15 CRNAs from top programs. We cover 41 anesthetizing locations daily. We work together in a care team model. Our care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence.

Case Assignments & Schedule
• Schedule: 8h, 10h, 12h or a mix, minimum of 30 hours a week on average.
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient cases. State of the art, brand new operating rooms. Great variety of cases including general, OB, regional, vascular, cardiac, pediatrics, neuro and ortho.
• No transplant cases and no trauma.
• Cardiac and young pediatrics cases covered by the cardiac and peds team.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Requirements
• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
