Care Assistant (Days – 8am – 8pm)

Hope House, Clayton-Le-Moors, Accrington
22, 33 or 44 hours - 12-hour shifts - Real Living Wage (Premium pay on Care Workers)

About Dovehaven House

Dovehaven House is a residential care home catering for up to 40 residents. The home specializes in dementia care, and our aim is to ensure all our residents feel as comfortable as possible. Our homes promote independence, dignity and respect through positive risk taking and empowerment.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play a key role in helping residents feel safe, comfortable and cared for—day and night.

This includes:

  • Personal care delivered with dignity
  • Supporting emotional wellbeing
  • Encouraging independence where possible
  • Working closely with your team to maintain a safe environment

(Night roles also include light cleaning duties to support the home)

Our portfolio includes all four categories of care homes (Rest Home, EMI Rest Home, Nursing Home and EMI Nursing Home) and we can accommodate all of our residents’ needs for the full length of their stay with Dovehaven. Should a resident’s needs change whilst in care, we can accommodate for this under the Dovehaven umbrella with minimal disruption.
