The Salvation Army Gateway Citadel Corps Community Center is looking for a Day Camp Counselor. This individual will assist in Day Camp/After-School programs. If employee is under the age of eighteen, they will not be left alone with children without an adult present. Enjoy working with children and perform some cleaning duties as needed in program areas.
This is a full-time, 32 hours per week, $15.00 per hour. This is temporary summer position, employment dates 06/01/2026-08/07/2026. Must have experience with youth.

Essential Functions
Education and Experience
Previous work with youth activities is desirable. Good communication skills. Requires basic verbal communications with children and other employees. Valid drivers’ license and pass TSA MVR is a plus. Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid is a plus. Capable of lifting a 40-pound child.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
Must be capable of performing the above essential duties. Most work will be indoors in a temperature-controlled environment. However, some work will be outdoors where it will be hot in the summer.
