Job Description

The selected candidate is expected to work on the ETL layer (IBM Datastage) of the Cloud Native IDP platform that is designed based on Hexagonal Microservices architecture, including a proprietary solution leveraging the Spring State Machine framework, for workflow management, scheduling & monitoring with Oracle ExaCC as the database.

• Work with business analysts/users to understand requirements.

· Ability to perform technical analysis, design and identify impacts (functional/technical).

• Develop, test and provide support during implementation.

• Bug fixing & performance optimization.

· Mentor and carry out code reviews of junior members on the team.

· L3 support in case of post-production issues/incidents

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Ability to perform technical analysis, design and identify impacts (functional/technical)

Proficiency in:

· Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using IBM Infosphere DataStage Parallel Edition

· Create data jobs, design data flows, and optimize data processing performance

· Manage and monitor data integration processes using DataStage Designer, Director, and Administrator

· Ensure data quality, data validation, and data transformation techniques are applied to all data integration processes

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data integration requirements

· Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues and performance problems

· Hands on experience in designing Robust Data Pipelines in DataStage PX to deal with huge data volumes.

· Experience in connecting Oracle data sources, ability to develop customization around DataStage PX and Oracle.

· Realtime working experience in dealing with DataStage 8.0 x, 9.0 x, 11.0 x and greater version, Data Dictionary, Deployment, Designer client, Director client.

· Oracle SQL and PL/SQL in 12c or latest version

· Triggers, Views and Performance Tuning related to SQL Queries

· Unix Shell scripting

· Any Scheduler concept awareness

Nice to Have:

· Experience with other data integration tools and technologies

· Knowledge of data architecture and data modelling

· Experience with core Java and Frameworks is an added advantage.

· Experience with agile development methodologies

· Certification in IBM DataStage or related technologies
