Strategy Focus:
This role will take a forward-looking approachdriving innovation and identifying emerging opportunities for Dataiku and advanced analytics adoption across the enterprise. The individual will focus on developing the long-term roadmap, assessing new technologies, and shaping strategic direction to enable Delta Dentals data-driven transformation.

This role is critical to advancing enterprise-wide analytics at Delta Dental. The Expert Technical Specialist will partner closely with data architecture, data engineering, and business analytics teams to identify and implement machine learning (ML) use cases that address real-world business challenges.

The position sits within Delta Dentals Data & Analytics Center of Excellence, which is responsible for executing the companys Enterprise Data & Analytics strategyfostering a data-driven culture, governing data assets, and enabling impactful business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage deep expertise in Dataiku (and Azure ML) to support business data scientists in defining, developing, tuning, and deploying ML models.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to data scientists and development teams on ML best practices from ideation to deployment.
• Serve as an Advanced Analytics Product Owner identify and prioritize new ML use cases, track progress and risks, and coordinate resolution efforts.
• Drive thought leadership on Advanced Analytics governance, including ethical and legal guidelines.
• Build, validate, and implement predictive models in support of strategic initiatives or AI/ML proof-of-concepts; clearly present findings to stakeholders.
• Analyze current data-related processes and lead process improvement initiatives.
