About the Team:
The Datacenter Infrastructure Engineering team supports the company's fast growth by building and operating hyperscale datacenters. The team manages the end to end lifecycle of server fleet, providing cloud solutions and various infrastructure services ensuring that they are scalable and are reliable.

About the Role:
The team is looking for candidates with strong technical infrastructure backgrounds and data center commissioning experience, passionate about engineering excellence, and providing effective and sustainable solutions with an eye to the future. Candidates need to understand the challenges associated with deploying and validating infrastructure at scale and have experience in designing systems. Candidates need further understanding of the global standard for commissioning, performance, availability, project management, contracting, design reviews. . The work you do will influence processes globally.

Responsibilities:
1. To participate and review in data center site selection and contractual evaluations and executions.
2. To participate and Review Data Center MEP Design and other necessary disciplines for new data center builds and data hall fit outs
3. Review data hall layout plans and perform test fits to validate server capacity plans and failover calculations
4. Scope out commissioning requirement and responsibility matrix exhibit in a contract with data center providers or developers during site selection and contracting stage.
5. Participate in construction QA/QC through the construction period of the project.
6. Participate in Testing and Commissioning reviews and discussions to determine required tests to verify design elements.
7. Collaborate with the FM team DC Engineering Operations to validate commissioning results, and prepare systems hand off to the FM DCEO team.
8. Support the DC Engineering FM team to become a Subject Matter Expert and understand how to overcome design limitations and risks.
9. Conduct a periodic Audit or Assessment to access the effectiveness and practicality of the design in-use on our data centers
10. Be our ambassador to explain data center infrastructure design to visitors
11. Based on CX lessons learned, to continually find ways to collaborate and break new ground to enhance MEP design to meet future needs.
12. Continually maintain positive and collaborative working relations with partner teams, vendors, teammates, and internal customers.
