We’re looking for a Database Support Engineer for the Warranty department to work in the management of all data base related work for RENFE Gran Capacidad Project with respect to product failures and material management in Vilanova i la Geltrú. You’ll work alongside people who show up with ownership, passion, and dedication — because they know what’s at stake: the journey home.

Your role, your impact

  • Implement & Configure the Data Management System for the Warranty department, to ensure exploitability and usability of the data.
  • Extract, analyze & adapt relevant data in actionable form.
  • Review data to assure data quality and feedback to teams for corrective actions.
  • Support Reliability Growth actions in cooperation with RAMS and Quality
  • Support charge back recovery
  • Participate in Return of Experience for failure management applications
  • Provide support to other database users
  • Link the database to other relevant databases for operational purposes
  • Capture data and elaborate KPI's dashboard for the organization, communicate and publish reports/results
  • Respect the application of EHS rules and Warranty processes

  • Engineering Degree
  • Technical professional background
  • Railway experience would be an asset
  • MAXIMO knowledge would be an asset
  • Good level of English
  • Agility, Communication, Organizational and Operational Flexibility

How success is measured

  • Quality and availability of data for material management
  • Quality and availability of train failure data in Data Management System
  • Availability of KPI’s dashboard for Warranty organization
  • Compliance with Warranty Implementation processes
