Database Engineer / Administrator
Ft. Meade Area, MD · Government/Military
Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week

Join a high-performance, agile team supporting a critical intelligence program with an immediate opening for a Database Engineer / Administrator. You'll play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing database systems that support fast-paced, real-timed missions at the heart of national security.

What You’ll Do

• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Oracle databases and Oracle Streams replication in a DevOps + Agile SAFe environment.
• Conduct disaster recovery, turning, and performance optimization
• Design and manage data structures for optimal query and storage efficiency
• Manage data integrity, availability, and security across mission-critical systems
• Support system updates, IAVA patching, and incident resolution
• Write and maintain efficient SQL and PL/SQL scripts

What You Bring
Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of professional experience as a Database Administrator
• 3+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience
• Bonus: Bachelor's degree in a technical field
