TITLE: DATABASE COORDINATOR

The Database Coordinator is responsible for provide extensive database analysis for marketing initiatives and helps develop strategies to overall increase business.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Perform analysis of the Casino Management System to identify and target underutilized database segments
  2. Develop and implement strategies to effectively segment the existing database and streamline player data collection.
  3. Facilitates all aspects of monthly offers, including direct mail, email, mobile program, casino apps and all guest offers.
  4. Provide analysis of guest spend and trends as needed.
  5. Provide property analysis of guest and marketing demographic information to develop long-term strategies.
  6. Assist in planning, implementation, and evaluation of direct mail and marketing programs designed to attract and retain new and existing customers to the casino.
  7. Assists in developing and maintaining policies, procedures and standards relating to database management.
  8. Develop strategic use of existing information process and evaluates potential uses of new processes.
  9. Provide pre and post project analysis to determine effectiveness and revenue generating impact.
  10. Work closely with all areas of Casino Marketing and Information Technology staff to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues of concern.
  11. Responsible for strict adherence to Compliance policies, internal control procedures and the Casino policies and procedures.
  12. Work closely with management to develop recommendations to improve business in accordance with established company policies, budgets, procedures and strategies.
  13. Ensure accuracy and integrity of all offers, guest lists and guest records.
  14. Evaluate and identify ways to improve the security of guest information for the property.
  15. Maintains current operating knowledge of necessary system functions to effectively coordinate casino marketing projects
  16. Accurately tracks incentives, promotions, comp redemption and all other casino marketing offers and programs.
  17. Produces timely analysis reports to determine profitability of all casino marketing efforts.
  18. Must attend and be certified in all applicable trainings required.
  19. All other departmental duties as assigned.



Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelors or AA Degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance preferred, or Two (2) years database related work experience
  2. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional software including but not limited to Excel, Word, and Access.
  3. Knowledge and experience in Casino Management systems and Casino Marketing systems preferred.
  4. Practical knowledge in accumulating and integrating data for use in report software spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.
  5. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information.
  6. Proven analytical and problem solving abilities.
  7. Strong written and oral communication skills.
  8. Strong guest service.
  9. Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred.
  10. Must be 21 years of age.
  11. Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  12. Must have a valid California Driver License and be insured through the casino insurance carrier.
  13. Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:

  1. While performing the duties of this job the Team Member is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and sit.
  2. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
  3. Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
  4. Environment is administrative setting with occasional visits to the casino floor.
  5. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  6. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
  7. Noise level is moderate to high when on casino floor.
  8. Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

REPORTS TO: Casino Marketing Director

SUPERVISES: None

HOURS The casino operates 24/7. Schedule, shift, and hours will vary to include weekends and holidays.

SALARY $22.66/hour / weekly pay / Overtime eligible
