Database Administrator / Data Engineer
Location: New York city, NY
Work Authorization: US Citizen

We are seeking a Database Administrator / Data Engineer to support SQL Server databases, data integration, ETL processes, database performance, data validation, troubleshooting, and production database operations for an enterprise application environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.
Support ETL packages and scheduled data-processing activities.
Troubleshoot database and production data issues.
Analyze complex data issues across integrated applications.
Support data exchanges between enterprise systems.
Perform data validation and reconciliation.
Monitor and optimize database performance.
Support database design and data-access requirements.
Maintain database documentation and technical runbooks.
Support data security and integrity requirements.
Participate in root-cause analysis and knowledge-transfer activities.

Required Qualifications:

Strong Microsoft SQL Server 2019+ experience.
Advanced SQL development.
Experience with stored procedures, views, functions, and database troubleshooting.
ETL/data integration experience.
Database performance tuning.
Data validation and reconciliation.
Enterprise production database support.
Experience working with application development teams and APIs.
Experience with data security and access controls.

Compensation: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
