This is a fixed-term contract for 6 months with the possibility to be extended.

The ideal candidate will bringsolid hands-on experience managingPostgreSQL and Snowflake environments, with practical exposure toSQL Server and Oracle.

This rolehelps ensuredatabase performance, reliability, security, and scalabilityacross bothtransactional systems and cloud data warehouse platforms.

The position supportsproduction and non-production environmentsand partners withapplication, analytics, and platform teamsto enable database operations and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, monitor, and optimize PostgreSQL/Snowflake databases in production and non-production environments

  • Support database migrations from PostgreSQL to Snowflake.

  • Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and index/partition management

  • Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions

  • Support database security, user access, role management, and auditing

  • Work with application and analytics teams on schema design and deployment support

  • Maintain operational documentation and follow best practices

  • Assist with SQL Server and Oracle development and support tasks

Your Profile

Core Skills :

  • Primary Expertise: PostgreSQL, AWS RDS Aurora, Snowflake

  • Secondary Experience: SQL Server, Oracle, DynamoDB

  • Experience with AWS cloud platform

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Exposure to DevOps or CI/CD pipelines

  • Database migration or cloud data warehouse projects
