This is a fixed-term contract for 6 months.

The ideal candidate will bringsolid hands-on experience managingPostgreSQL and Snowflake environments, with practical exposure toSQL Server and Oracle.

This rolehelps ensuredatabase performance, reliability, security, and scalabilityacross bothtransactional systems and cloud data warehouse platforms.

The position supportsproduction and non-production environmentsand partners withapplication, analytics, and platform teamsto enable database operations and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, monitor, and optimizePostgreSQL and Snowflake databases acrossproduction and non-production environments.

  • Support database migration initiativesfrom PostgreSQL to Snowflake.

  • Performdatabase performance tuning, query optimization, and index/partition managementto improve efficiency and scalability.

  • Implement and managebackup, recovery, anddisaster recoverysolutions to support business continuity.

  • Supportdatabase security, user access, role management, and auditingin alignment with established controls and standards.

  • Partner withapplication and analytics teams onschema design and deployment support.

  • Maintainoperational documentationandadhere to best practices, standards, and procedures.

  • Provide development and support assistanceforSQL Server and Oracleenvironments.

Your Profile

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience as aDatabase AdministratorsupportingPostgreSQL and Snowflakeenvironments.

  • Strong expertise inPostgreSQL, AWS RDS Aurora, and Snowflake.

  • Practical experience withSQL Server, Oracle, and DynamoDB.

  • Experience working within theAWS cloud platform.

  • Knowledge ofdatabase performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and partitioning.

  • Experience supportingbackup, recovery, disaster recovery, security administration, access management, and auditing.

  • Ability to collaborate withapplication and analytics stakeholdersonschema design and deployment support.

  • Preferred experience includes exposure toDevOps or CI/CD pipelinesanddatabase migration or cloud data warehouse projects.

Work Arrangement

  • Hybrid: 4x per month on-site work

  • Hours: 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM (Manila)

  • Workdays: Monday to Friday OR Tuesday to Saturday
