The Database Administrator is responsible for administering, supporting, and optimizing Affiliated Distributors’ enterprise database environments and modern data ecosystem, including Lawson databases, Snowflake, AWS-based data services, and Drupal (Acquia).
This role combines traditional database administration responsibilities with modern cloud-based data platform and data warehousing functions. The Database Administrator serves as the primary technical owner for Lawson database-related responsibilities while also supporting enterprise data integration, data warehousing, reporting, and analytics initiatives. The position focuses on ensuring database reliability, performance, security, and availability while enabling efficient data extraction, transformation, modeling, and reporting across enterprise systems.
The Database Administrator will play a key role in supporting the Drupal platform and broader data initiatives by ensuring enterprise data is secure, accurate and accessible across systems.
