Job Title: Database Admin, Engineer, Designer
Location: Fort Meade area
Required Clearance TS/SCI

We are looking for database admins, engineers, designers to support an exciting new, 5-year software development program to develop a web application using current technologies and AWS. Our requirements also require us to merge data from legacy databases. The new system we will combine the functionality of 2 separate systems into one. You will be responsible for database engineering to define the schemas and data relationships that supports a long term SDLC.
 
Responsibilities:
Candidates will be responsible for the design, development and administration of databases.  We are developing, testing and deploying to Amazon Web Services. You will be integrated with a team of 20 professionals like system architects, project application engineers, and database engineers to develop a system that support the needs of the warfighters.
 
Qualifications:
  • General experience with database administration or as a Database Engineer, Designer or Admin
  •  Experience in data migration would be helpful.
  • Experience with SQL database.
  • Must have good communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Must be an independent thinker capable of working proficiently independently as well as within a team.
