Job Summary

We are seeking a Data Visualization Engineer I / Data Analyst to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that transform enterprise data into actionable insights.

This role will focus heavily on Power BI dashboard development, data modeling, SQL, Databricks, data integration, and reporting performance. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with business stakeholders, data engineers, and IT teams to build accurate, scalable, and user-friendly analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPIs.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into reporting and analytics solutions.
• Develop and optimize DAX measures, calculated columns, and Power BI data models.
• Create and maintain SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.
• Connect and integrate data from:
• Databricks
• Azure data platforms
• SQL databases
• APIs
• Flat files
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
• Support ETL/ELT processes for reporting and analytics environments.
• Troubleshoot Power BI refreshes, connectivity issues, and report performance.
• Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and IT teams to resolve data and reporting issues.
• Document business logic, data sources, data models, and reporting requirements.
• Support enterprise reporting and dashboard performance optimization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of:
• DAX
• Power Query
• Data modeling
• Dashboard development
• Proficiency with SQL for querying, data manipulation, and optimization.
• Experience with Databricks or similar modern data platforms.
• Understanding of relational databases, data warehousing, and data pipelines.
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Databricks.
• Knowledge of Python, Spark, or PySpark.
• Experience with Git, source control, CI/CD, and BI deployment processes.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale reporting environments.
• Experience with dashboard and query performance optimization.
