What does a great Autosys Developer do? A top-class autosys/shell script developer can design and build autosys scheduling interfaces to company specifications that meet the needs of the client. Enjoy solving problems individually and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.  Work with others in our Bangalore office as part of a technology team.

How you will provide meaningful contributions:

• Participate in requirements analysis. Work through daily ZenDesk ticket updates.

• Collaborate with internal teams to help create new autosys scheduling jobs while ensuring that completed job flows aligning with user needs and demands while also maintaining the integrity of InvestCloud vision.

• Develop, test, install new and modify existing autosys scheduling jobs in PROD/CERT/Dev regions.

• Test and deploy applications and systems. Work in tandem to support our Production Data Operations team when needed.

• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)

• Serve as an expert on NDM, sftp, ssh applications and provide technical support with our oncall team. Understanding of Jira project workflow and responsible for updating Jira projects regularly.

• This job requires daily commute to our Bangalore office in India.

Basic Qualifications and Skills for Consideration:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information technology, or in a relevant field.

• 3-5 years’ experience as an NDM/Autosys application developer.

• Experience with secure file transfer technologies (SFTP, FTP/S, Connect:Direct, MQ, APIs, etc.). Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills for production support and interface failures.

• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design decisions

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git / SVN

• Must have expert shell scripting and autosys jil creation experience.

• Pentaho experience and windows developer job creation a plus.

• Debug and troubleshoot existing NDM, sftp, and autosys applications to resolve issues.

• Perform code reviews and provide feedback to other developers.

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

• Experience working with international and remote teams.

• Experience providing support in troubleshooting issues in live environments.

• Experience working with applications in the financial domain.

• Strong commitment towards quality and schedule.

• Proven ability to work as an individual contributor and team player helping and mentoring other teams.

• Proven ability to influence stakeholders/clients ensuring protocols are not minimized

• Receives general guidance to plan, conduct, and establish a functional vision for assignments, reviews progress and evaluates results.
