Your impact

As a Data Transformation Consultant at Ultimo, you ensure customer data is accurate, structured, and ready to support operations. You take ownership of the full data migration process, from mapping to validation, enabling short time-to-value implementations. You are a key member of the implementation team, partnering with diverse project roles to ensure a smooth, high-quality go-live.

Your work directly impacts the quality and success of every implementation.

What you’ll be doing:

• Own the end‑to‑end data migration process for Ultimo implementations, including migrating, cleansing, structuring, and validating customer data in line with project scope and customer needs.
• Ensure high‑quality, reliable, and well‑governed data by applying best practices in data standards, governance, validation, and reconciliation.
• Design, maintain, and reuse migration scripts and templates to enable scalable, repeatable implementations and a short time‑to‑value for customers.
• Map and align data between source systems and Ultimo, translating complex data structures into a solid operational foundation.
• Coordinate closely with project teams on migration planning and support testing phases with migrated datasets to ensure successful go‑lives.

Qualifications

This role is a great fit if you:

• Are comfortable working in an international environment, with a strong command of both spoken and written English.
• Enjoy working with data end‑to‑end from understanding data models and relational databases to transforming, validating, and enriching data for real business use.
• Have hands‑on experience with SQL and XML and like digging into data to understand how systems truly work under the hood.
• Are familiar with Git and appreciate structured, version‑controlled ways of working.
• Are curious about how AI tools can be used to improve data quality through cleansing, enrichment, and automation and you actively explore using them in practice.
• Have advanced Excel skills and see spreadsheets not just as tables, but as powerful tools for analysis, validation, and insight.
• Enjoy automating repetitive tasks and streamlining processes using PowerShell, making data processing more efficient and reliable.
• Like combining technical depth with practical impact, ensuring data is not only correct, but usable, scalable, and future‑proof.
• You have a minimum of an associate degree level or equivalent working and thinking ability
