Roles & Responsibilities :
Job Title: Senior Data Strategy Consultant

As a Senior Data Strategy Consultant at Bosch, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing data strategies across various Bosch business divisions for AI Transformation. Your primary responsibility will be to consult on and develop comprehensive data strategies that align with Bosch’s overarching business objectives on leveraging AI strategic focus. You will work closely with division leaders to identify opportunities, address challenges, and deliver actionable insights that foster data-driven decision-making and competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Consultation:

  • Collaborate with senior executives and key stakeholders across multiple Bosch divisions to understand their business needs, challenges, and data requirements.

  • Develop and implement data strategies that align with Bosch’s strategy towards AI and data driven digitalization initiatives.

  • Provide expert advice on data governance, data management, and leveraging data for business outcomes.

Data Strategy Development:

  • Design and articulate comprehensive data strategies that drive value creation and support divisional and corporate objectives.

  • Identify and prioritize key data initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological capabilities.

  • Evaluate and recommend advanced analytics tools and technologies to support data strategy execution.

Data Governance:

  • Support in establishing and maintaining data governance frameworks and policies to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance across all divisions.

  • Support in defining and enforcing data governance standards, including data stewardship, data ownership, and data classification.

  • Support in developing and overseeing data governance processes for data lifecycle management, including data creation, usage, storage, and disposal.

  • Support in conducting data audits and assessments to ensure adherence to governance policies and identify areas for improvement.

  • Support in collaborating with IT and data management teams to implement data governance tools and technologies.

  • Support in providing guidance and support to divisions in resolving data governance issues and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Data Analysis and Insights:

  • Conduct in-depth data analyses to uncover insights and trends that drive business decisions and strategy refinement.

  • Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business leaders.

  • Develop and present reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate data insights and strategy outcomes.

Change Management:

  • Foster a data-driven culture within Bosch divisions by promoting data literacy and advocating for data-driven decision-making practices.

  • Develop training programs and workshops to enhance data skills and capabilities across the organization.

  • Support the adoption of new data tools and technologies, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.

Project Management:

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of data strategy projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

  • Develop project plans, manage resources, and track progress against milestones and deliverables.

  • Address and resolve project-related issues, risks, and dependencies.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business unit leaders, IT teams, and external partners.

  • Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for data strategy and best practices within the organization.

  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and collaborative sessions to drive alignment and engagement.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data strategy and analytics.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation within data strategies and processes.

  • Contribute to the development of Bosch’s data strategy framework and thought leadership.

Qualifications

  • Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional) are advantageous.

  • Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in data strategy or consulting roles in AI Transformation focus areas, with a proven track record of working across multiple business units or divisions. Experience in a large, multinational organization is preferred.

  • Skills:

  • Deep expertise in developing and implementing data strategies and frameworks.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

  • Advanced knowledge of data management and analytics technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, R).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.

  • Proven project management capabilities and experience in leading cross-functional teams.
