Your responsibility as Data Strategist

As a Data Strategist, you play a key role in transforming data into real business value. You act as the connector between data and business, ensuring that insights lead to action.
Within our FTTH rollout, you become the analytical engine of the program—bringing foresight and structure.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive high-impact data strategy — Identify and prioritize analytics that truly move the needle, translating complex business challenges into measurable value.
• Act as strategic bridge — Partner with business leaders to ensure data isn’t just delivered but actively shapes decisions and outcomes.
• Own end-to-end data landscape — Define critical metadata and master data, and bring fragmented sources together into a clear, scalable data lake vision.
• Turn complexity into clarity — Visualize end-to-end flows, performance, and dependencies, making progress, risks, and bottlenecks instantly actionable.
• Drive performance & continuous improvement — Build dashboards and insights that expose bottlenecks and trigger data-driven action across partners.
• Shape forward-looking decisions — Develop forecasting models and analyses to steer volumes, cost, quality, and timelines.

Our ideal Data Strategist

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, strategy, or a similar role.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a similar field.
• Ability to translate data into business narratives and strategic recommendations.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, governance, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Highly skilled stakeholder manager who knows when to push, challenge, influence and support.
• Resilient, pragmatic, and comfortable with ambiguity.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
• Nice to Haves?
• Experience in telecom or large‑scale infrastructure.
• Familiarity with FTTH processes or data landscapes.
