Introduction

The Order Domain Data Steward is the business owner for data quality and definition for all order-related data at GlobalFoundries. This includes sales orders, purchase orders, order line items, delivery commitments, order status, and fulfillment data managed across SAP/Oracle ERP, D365 CRM, CDW, and GF Connect.

This role works closely with Order Management, Commercial Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure that order data is accurate, consistently maintained, and properly governed to support on-time delivery performance, revenue recognition, and customer satisfaction.

Your Job

  • Own and maintain business definitions for order data elements including order type, line item status, committed ship date, delivery terms, and order priority flags

  • Approve reference data and code lists governing order classification, fulfillment status categories, and delivery priority rules

  • Ensure order data integrity and consistency across SAP/Oracle ERP, D365 CRM, CDW, and GF Connect

  • Partner with Order Management and Commercial Operations to drive data quality at order entry and throughout the order lifecycle

  • Define rules for order data maintenance including change management, cancellation handling, and split shipment logic

  • Support governance of order-related KPIs including on-time delivery, order fulfillment rate, and backlog accuracy

  • Coordinate with Supply Chain and Finance on order data dependencies for revenue recognition and supply execution

  • Work with the Data Quality & Governance Lead to define data quality rules and thresholds

  • Review data quality dashboards, prioritize issues, and coordinate remediation efforts

  • Provide business input on root cause analysis and practical solutions to recurring data issues

  • Provide domain expertise to the Business Process Architect for process design and improvement

  • Ensure processes for creating and updating data are followed and continuously improved

  • Represent the domain in change impact assessments and testing for new system features

  • Act as the go-to person for questions about the domain’s data across the organization

  • Communicate standards, changes, and expectations to users in the area

  • Escalate major data risks or issues to domain leadership and the Director of Data & Process



Required Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of order management processes and order data structures in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)

  • Experience in order management, commercial operations, or supply chain roles in a technology or manufacturing environment

  • Familiarity with order-to-cash process flows and how order data quality impacts revenue recognition and customer satisfaction

  • Understanding of order lifecycle management including creation, fulfillment, change orders, cancellations, and closure

  • Experience with CRM and ERP integration points for order visibility and status tracking

  • Data literacy — ability to read dashboards, identify data quality patterns, and interpret metrics

  • Ability to define business rules clearly and translate requirements for technical teams

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Ability to communicate complex data problems in clear, business-friendly language

  • Proficiency with analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Operations, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial operations, sales operations, or data management in a technology or manufacturing environment
