About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Steward to ensure consistent governance and understanding of variety of data. 
You will work closely with Development Teams, Product Owners, Architects, Legal, Privacy, Connectivity, and Security teams.

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct data baselining activities in collaboration with Development Experts (Dev, PO, SE/HE, Architects)
  • Maintain and update Data Baselining Documentation for our products
  • Create and maintain Data Contracts for data storage, processing, and cross-BL data exchange
  • Develop and maintain customer-facing documentation for EU Data Act Information Obligations
  • Respond to Legal and Data Privacy queries regarding data generated by products
  • Coordinate cross-BL alignment on data privacy guidelines and governance challenges
  • Maintain and update the Incoming Data & Connectivity Matrix
  • Define and align data sharing strategies across cross-functional teams
  • Support architects in defining Data Creation & Governance strategies Log data
  • Coordinate with other teams on incoming data contracts and changing requirements
What you bring
  • 6–10 years of experience in data governance, data stewardship, or data management
  • Profound knowledge of data varieties including lifecycle, classification, storage, processing, governance, and usage within products
  • Strong understanding of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data — machine data, telemetry, log files, and regulatory-sensitive datasets
  • Familiarity with EU Data Act, GDPR, and cross-BL data governance practices
  • Experience authoring Data Contracts and customer-facing compliance documenatation
  • Data engineering or data analysis skills are optional
