We’re looking for a detail-driven, commercially aware Data Steward to play a key role in ensuring trusted, high-quality data across enterprise platforms within a Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB/BFSI) environment.

Requirements

What You’ll Be Doing

• 
  Own and drive data quality standards across critical datasets

• 
  Define, monitor, and enforce data governance and stewardship practices

• 
  Perform data validation, reconciliation, and analysis using strong SQL skills

• 
  Partner with business, risk, finance, and technology stakeholders to resolve data issues

• 
  Support enterprise data warehouses and reporting platforms

• 
  Produce clear documentation, controls, and audit-ready artefacts

• 
  Contribute to regulatory and risk-driven data initiatives

Benefits

What We’re Looking For (Must-Have)

• 
  5–10+ years’ experience in Data Stewardship, Data Governance, or Data Management

• 
  Strong understanding of
  data quality dimensions (accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness)

• 
  Proven experience in Investment Banking / CIB / BFSI environments

• 
  Strong SQL skills for data analysis and reconciliation

• 
  Experience working with enterprise data warehouses

• 
  Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across business and IT

• 
  Strong documentation, control, and governance mindset

Nice to Have (Advantageous)

• 
  Exposure to risk, finance, trading, or regulatory datasets

• 
  Experience with Power BI or analytics consumption layers

• 
  Familiarity with data governance tools, metadata management, or MDM platforms

• 
  Knowledge of SARB regulatory expectations or similar regulatory frameworks

• 
  Experience working on Azure or cloud-based data platforms
