As part of the global data community, you will work within multi-disciplinary agile squads working alongside some of the best Product Managers, BI Specialists, Data Engineers and Data Scientists. IT Data is responsible for ensuring engineering excellence in the delivery of data products and solutions. As an enthusiastic Data Specialist, you will advocate data practices through strong technical expertise. You will help internal teams transform from conventional practices to data-driven approach, while uncovering valuable insights. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain comprehensive understanding across business functions from Subject Matter Experts, while growing within the Data Analytics space. RESPONSIBILITIES As a Data Specialist, you will work in multi-disciplinary squads delivering data products and solutions. • Support Product Managers in facilitating discovery sessions and gathering business requirements. • Document data and process flows, while identifying opportunities for improvement. • Identify data sources and enhance data collection to reduce manual processes. • Analyse and visualize data from various sources to support data-driven decision making. • Monitor and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data used in analytics and reporting. • Writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria for product delivery. • Identify opportunities for process automation and simplifying data flows. • Advocate for process improvements and Agile ways of working across teams. • Respond to data requests and provide analytical support to business teams as needed. QUALIFICATIONS • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related STEM field. • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in the domain of data analytics. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities • Proven experience with Tableau for analytics and data visualisation. • Hands-on experience with SQL, Python or PySpark. • Good understanding of data modelling, data architecture, and data governance concepts. • Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Google. • Familiarity with project management tools, ie Jira & Confluence. • Knowledge in Power Platform is a significant plus but not mandatory.
