The Data Security Sales Manager plays a key role in growing and driving revenue growth, and promoting cybersecurity and data protection solutions across diverse industries. This role requires strong knowledge of enterprise security solutions and the ability to align security offerings with client business needs. You will work closely with organizations to understand their data protection challenges and provide tailored solutions from our cybersecurity portfolio, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Encryption, Cloud Security, Endpoint Protection, SIEM, Threat Monitoring, and Managed Security Services.

This role is based in Nairobi.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive adoption of data security and cybersecurity solutions.

2. Build and manage relationships with C-level executives, IT leaders, and key enterprise stakeholders.

3. Lead complex sales cycles involving solution selling, client presentations, and contract negotiations.

4. Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for cybersecurity and data security solutions.

5. Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to stay updated on cybersecurity trends and solution advancements.

6. Lead account review meetings and proactively manage renewals, upselling, and customer satisfaction.

7. Develop channel and partner sales opportunities and support enablement initiatives where required.

8. Act as a trusted advisor to clients on data security best practices and enterprise cybersecurity strategies.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise technology or cybersecurity sales, with at least 3 years focused on data security or cybersecurity solutions.

  • Experience working with enterprise security platforms and cybersecurity vendors.

  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks and modern cybersecurity practices

  • Proven track record of managing enterprise accounts and achieving sales targets.

  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

  • Familiarity with data security technologies and cybersecurity best practices.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
