Title/Role: Data Scientist/Engineer

Division: Technology Operations

Location: Hybrid, reporting to New York City

Reporting to: Vice President

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist/Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric, enterprise data platforms, and advanced analytics to help drive data-driven decision making across our organization.

This role is ideal for someone who has worked in large-scale enterprise environments and can bridge business and technology while ensuring data quality, security, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize enterprise data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Power BI.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines leveraging Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) best practices.
• Analyze accounting, financial, operational, and construction-related data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
• Implement processes to quickly identify, cleanse, and improve poor-quality data.
• Partner with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and data-driven solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and cybersecurity standards, including ISO 27001 best practices.
• Support CRM integrations and enterprise reporting initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Analytics, Data Engineering, or related fields.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, SQL, ETL/ELT, and Medallion Architecture.
• Experience working with accounting, finance, ERP, and operational datasets.
• Strong data quality, governance, and cybersecurity awareness.
• Experience working with CRM platforms and customer data.
• Exceptional communication skills with a customer-service mindset and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred

• Construction, engineering, or infrastructure industry experience.
• Knowledge of electrical construction operations.
• Power BI, Azure, and AI/ML experience.

Salary Range: $120,000 – $150,000/year, based on experience
