We are seeking a highly experienced Data Scientist Senior to drive the technical vision, architecture, and delivery of advanced analytics and AI/ML solutions. This role combines deep hands-on data science expertise with strong technical leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the technical strategy and architecture for scalable, production-ready data science and AI solutions, including selecting appropriate frameworks, tools, and cloud platforms; establishing best practices for model lifecycle management; and ensuring solutions are secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

• Lead the design and implementation of machine learning, statistical, and predictive models, overseeing the full lifecycle from data exploration and feature engineering to model training, validation, tuning, and performance optimization, ensuring models are explainable, robust, and aligned with measurable business KPIs.

• Oversee the development of advanced AI solutions, including Generative AI and LLM-based systems when applicable, guiding architecture decisions for RAG pipelines, prompt engineering strategies, evaluation frameworks, and integration of AI components into enterprise applications and workflows.

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across strategy, technology, and industry to deliver integrated transformation outcomes.

• Lead and mentor Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Analysts, building capability and fostering a culture of excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Data Science, Analytics, Engineering or related fields; postgraduate qualifications are highly regarded.
• 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.
• 3+ years in technical leadership or lead role.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and experimentation methodologies, with strong proficiency in Python, ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Proven experience with MLOps practices, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar.
• Leadership and people management skills, with experience guiding diverse teams and developing talent.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
