Job Description

Kaizen Approach is currently seeking a Data Scientist / Data Analyst to support a high-visibility federal program with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). In this role, you will support data-driven decision-making efforts by developing dashboards, analyzing performance metrics, and identifying trends that improve operational efficiency and mission outcomes. You will be responsible for working with structured and unstructured data, supporting data integration efforts, and developing reporting solutions. This position involves contributing to predictive analytics, workload forecasting, and performance measurement initiatives. You will also collaborate with program leadership, business analysts, and technical teams to ensure data accuracy, usability, and alignment with program objectives.Requirements:
  • Must have the ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Must have the ability to develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Must have the ability to work with structured and unstructured data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Must have the ability to support data integration and data pipeline efforts across multiple systems.
  • Must have the ability to perform statistical analysis and support predictive modeling or forecasting activities.
  • Must have the ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define data requirements and reporting needs.
  • Must have experience using tools such as Python, SQL, R, or similar data analysis technologies.
  • Must have at least three (3) years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields.
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability clearance.
