The team
The Center of Expertise Pricing Business Banking is part of Business Development, a central BBNL department working for all business banking products and segments. With the strategic product-price positioning, we impact the results of the Domestic Bank Business Banking Netherlands, and customer behaviour, credit and market risk, and perception of our customers and society. As CoE Pricing we have a holistic view on Business Banking products and segments covering savings, payments and lending for small to midsized corporates.
Customer behavioural modelling and Insights Chapter
You will be part of the Customer behavioural modelling and Insights Chapter. This is a newly established squad designed to understand our customers’ behaviour. The focus areas are on behaviour modelling, customer segmentation and price elasticity. You will have the opportunity to build analytical solutions, shape frameworks and best practices from the ground up.
Role and responsibilities
Develop advanced analytics solutions and models to drive data-informed commercial decisions across Business Banking.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to bring models into production.
Support business in understanding customer behaviour through data.
Actively engage with stakeholders.

Required Skills
At least 3 years of experience developing advanced analytics solutions, ideally in the financial sector.
Strong experience writing clean, readable, well documented Python and SQL code suitable for production environments.
Affinity with panel data / time series models, linear and non-linear regressions, time series analysis, clustering, and hypothesis testing.
Able to tell a clear story with data and to explain findings to business stakeholders.
Hands-on experience with PySpark, BigQuery, SAS, MS Azure DevOps and GCP is a plus.
Knowledge of pricing domain is a strong advantage.
Solid educational background in mathematics, statistics or econometrics (Master’s or PhD degree level preferred).
Excellent written and oral communication skills in both technical and business contexts. Fluency in spoken and written English. Dutch is a plus.
