Data Science
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

Travelers Data Scientists are taking the organization to the next level of intelligence by using advanced statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and AI. As a Data Scientist, you will work with business partners to identify opportunities for data analysis and experiments to solve key business challenges. You will help to design, build, and deliver predictive models of varying complexity, communicate insights, and tell the story using data.
As a member of the Applied Research team, you will join a group of highly creative and capable data scientists delivering meaningful impact across several domains. By combining your business acumen with strong technical expertise, you will help stakeholders to solve new or emerging problems through ideation, experimentation, and prototyping. In addition, you will have opportunities to pursue foundational research in anticipation of future business needs. Through exploration of new data, new methods, or new technologies, you will play a key role in unlocking new insights and value for the organization.
