MIRACORP is seeking a Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will use complex data analysis and modeling to identify business trends and problems and develop data-driven solutions for the organization. This position is in support of Department of State, Directorate of Passport Services.

Essential Functions

• Independently analyze complex, large-scale data to identify business trends and problems.
• Interpret results from multiple sources using aggregation, statistical analysis, and data mining techniques.
• Design, develop, and implement business solutions based on analytical findings.
• Prepare large datasets for analysis and solution development.
• Implement data models and develop databases that support business solutions.
• Communicate analytical results and their implications for organizational needs.

Qualifications: Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to pass a federal background check.
• Must possess a SECRET personnel security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience; or 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with the U.S. Department of State is preferred.
