Within the Data & AI division, our AI tribe enables scalable AI usage and value creation across Euroclear, embedding AI into core processes and services.

Our Key Focus & Outcomes:

  • Monitor AI strategy alignment with Corporate ambitions and establish responsible AI practices
  • Industrialize AI capabilities, from experimentation to scale
  • Deliver value through targeted use cases(efficiency and costs effectiveness, core processes optimization, clients experience)
  • Provide reusable AI components, models and platforms
  • Build and strengthen AI literacy across Euroclear

Our AI Delivery squads help to transform data into insights using techniques such as machine learning, natural language processing, large language models, mathematical optimization, etc. It is looking for a Data Scientist:

Your Profile

  • Demonstrable record of successful hands-on experiences in the area of sophisticated analytics. Practical hands-on experience in data science or advanced analytics is required.
  • Proficient in Python. Knowledge of Scala and/or Spark is a plus.
  • Proficient in relational database querying (SQL) or in data collection and transformation (ETL).
  • Strong knowledge of analytical techniques such as machine learning, natural language processing, mathematical optimization and large language models.
  • At ease with visualization tools like Power BI.
  • Experienced with command line tools (UNIX) and version control tools like GIT.
  • Know the Hadoop ecosystem (knowledge of the Cloudera distribution of Hadoop will be a plus).
  • Has work experience with at least one Cloud Provider, preferably Azure Cloud.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as good customer relationship skills to present the results of a use case to different audiences (from end users up to division management). You are able to explain sophisticated concepts in a simplified manner.
  • Experience implementing advanced analytics solutions into a well-controlled production environment.
  • Able to learn new concepts quickly, adapt to changing priorities and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Demonstrates initiative, a collaborative mindset and a positive approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with attention to details.
  • Past experience in agile development methodologies and make sure that the work you're doing contributes to the final product.
  • Stay abreast of new tools and technologies to practice up-to-date data analytic strategies.

In addition

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in machine learning, statistics, applied mathematics, or a related quantitative field, combined with strong IT skills. A relevant PhD can be valorised.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in advanced data analytics.
  • 3+ years of professional experience with Python.
