Job Description

Develops analytical models, curated datasets, semantic models, dashboards, and predictive analytics solutions that enable trusted data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position transforms enterprise data into secure, governed, and actionable insights that improve operational performance, customer experience, regulatory reporting, and business outcomes.

  • Analyzes enterprise data to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and actionable insights that support business decision-making.

  • Develops curated datasets, analytical data models, semantic models, and data products to enable trusted reporting and self-service analytics.

  • Designs reports, dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations to support operational, regulatory, executive, and customer experience reporting.

  • Builds predictive analytics, forecasting models, machine learning solutions, and advanced analytics capabilities to improve business performance.

  • Supports onboarding of new data sources into enterprise analytics platforms to expand available data for reporting and analysis.

  • Documents business rules, metadata, transformations, calculations, and data lineage to support governance, transparency, and auditability.

  • Validates data quality through reconciliation, monitoring, and issue resolution to improve accuracy and confidence in enterprise reporting assets.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, Data Owners, Data Stewards, and technology teams to deliver analytical solutions aligned with business objectives.

  • Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.

  • Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.

  • Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility.

Additional Job Description:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.

Experience

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, data science, or related analytical functions, including developing reports, dashboards, data models, and analytical solutions. Preferred experience working with Python or R, machine learning, cloud data platforms, data lakes or warehouses, and documenting business rules and metadata.

  • Additional experience may substitute for required education when aligned with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role.

  • An associate’s degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by at least 5 years of experience performing similar functions and a minimum of 3 years in a previous related role. A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) may substitute when accompanied by at least 8 years of experience performing similar functions and a minimum of 5 years in a previous related role.
