Job Title: Data Scientist

Location: Bangalore (Work from Office)
Experience: 5 to 7 years

About the Role

We are seeking a data-driven problem solver who can transform mining and industrial data into actionable insights and predictive solutions. In this role, you will work with diverse datasets to analyze, model, and optimize operations using advanced analytics and machine learning.

You will also have the opportunity to grow into a leadership role, guiding a team of data scientists and data engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and integrate data from multiple sources
• Develop statistical models and machine learning algorithms to predict and optimize operational performance
• Build dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights effectively
• Collaborate with domain experts to identify data-driven improvement opportunities
• Automate workflows and deploy models into production using Python and modern data tools

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python
  (pandas, scikit-learn, etc.) and SQL
• Experience in data modeling, feature engineering, and predictive analytics
• Hands-on experience with visualization tools (Power BI, Bold BI, or similar)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply creative thinking to real-world challenges
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies

Qualifications & Technical Expertise

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering
• Strong expertise in:
• Advanced SQL
• ETL/ELT pipelines
• PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server
• Performance tuning and dimensional modeling
• Business Intelligence experience:
• Power BI and/or Bold BI
• Data modeling, DAX/expressions
• Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Scheduled data refreshes
• Development Skills:
• Proficient in Python and JavaScript
• Experience with Git, testing, and quality assurance
• Low-code tools like Retool for building apps and queries

Start: Immediate to 15 Days

Location: Bangalore

Form of employment: Full-time until further notice, we apply 6 months probationary employment.
