Job Description

Purpose:

Responsible for discovering insights through data analysis to support development projects and company strategies, designing innovative data driven financial solutions for AND Solutions’ client needs by working closely with development teams, testers, documentation writers and product management to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Designing, building, and analyzing large and complex data sets from various structured and unstructured sources;
• Performing within defined and coordinated best methodology, technology, and algorithms across data science personnel;
  
• Extracting data from multiple sources using machine learning tools and programming languages to organize data, process, clean, and validate data, analyze the data for information patterns, develop predictions systems;
• Presenting the findings and propose solutions to various stakeholders including development teams and senior management to support long-term data-driven decisions and projects;
  
• Working closely with development and machine learning teams on finding data-driven solutions through rigorous testing and release procedures;
• Maintains and updates professional and technical knowledge by actively attending educational workshops; studying professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies;
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field;
• Knowledge or familiarity in project management methods (e.g., agile/scrum);
• Possess knowledge of or capable of obtaining knowledge mathematical modeling, advanced statistics, etc.,;
• Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and analysis techniques;
• Good working knowledge in Programming languages: R, Python, SQL, etc.,;
  
• Working knowledge or understanding of Tableau, PowerBI, STATA, MS Excel, etc.;
• Effective verbal and written communication skills both in English and Mongolian;
• Ability to work in teams and independently;

Nice-to-haves:

• 3 or more years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or Data Engineer is desired;
