Move forward as Data Scientist at DSV in Venlo or Moerdijk

You will have the opportunity to turn complex datasets into practical AI and machine learning solutions that directly contribute to optimising logistics processes within a Transport Solutions environment.

Within this department, you will work with the latest data and AI technologies on innovative solutions that have a direct impact on operational processes or customer-facing applicationyou’re on it.

How you do this? You will be responsible for structuring, analysing and modelling large, complex datasets. You will combine information from various sources and ensure that data is made reliable and insightful. By developing smart data models, you will uncover patterns and trends that would otherwise remain hidden, enabling better control and optimisation of processes.

In addition, you will translate the results of your analyses into clear and actionable management information. You will do this by creating dashboards, reports and practical tools that can be directly applied within the organisation. In this way, you enable faster, better, and data-driven strategic and operational decision-making. You achieve this by:

• integrating and structuring data from various internal and external sources to create a reliable and cohesive data platform;
• designing and developing advanced data models and toolsets to support performance, cost and process analyses;
• implementing machine learning and AI solutions and translating these into clear dashboards, reports and practical tools that directly support data-driven decision-making.

You bring

• a completed HBO or university degree in Data Science, Applied Data Science & AI, Computer Science, or a comparable field;
• knowledge of machine learning and AI applications, including developing and implementing practical models;
• the ability to analyse complex datasets and translate them into clear management information and toolsets;
• strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical insights clearly to a variety of stakeholders.
