About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
You will join a team of talented and ambitious data scientists working on meaningful, real-world problems using extensive, high-quality data. Our team values innovation, collaboration, and practical outcomes that make a genuine difference.
In this role, you will contribute to the design and delivery of advanced analytical solutions that support ACC’s operational decision-making and positively impact client experience. This is a permanent position, preferably based in Wellington, Auckland, Hamilton, or Dunedin, though other locations will be considered.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity, within the Advanced Analytics team.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build innovative advanced analytical solutions that will underpin ACC’s core operating model.
Use advanced tools and techniques including AI, machine learning, statistical modelling, and natural language processing to develop and refine analytical solutions that enhance ACC’s operational effectiveness and efficiency.
Own and drive data science projects from concept through to production.
Collaboratewith stakeholders and technical experts to deploy end-to-end scaled solutions.

The appointing salary for this role will sit between $90,039 and $110,047 and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution.
