About the Role: Opentap Talent is working with a client that is looking for an experienced Data Scientist. You will play a critical role in analyzing large datasets to uncover trends, generate insights, and drive data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop predictive models and algorithms that enhance business performance and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Use statistical techniques and data visualization tools to present data-driven recommendations.
• Continuously improve data collection, processing, and analysis methods.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in data science.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of statistical methods, data mining, and machine learning algorithms.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark is a plus.
