We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated part-time Data Scientist I to join our Strategic Analytics and Business Intelligence team. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with strong technical foundations and a passion for solving real-world problems through data. The position supports strategic initiatives across sales, operations, and logistics, contributing directly to business growth and efficiency.

A Day in the Life

• Collect, clean, and analyze data from internal ERP/CRM systems and external sources.
• Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to support business decisions.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, IT, Finance) to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support executive leadership’s strategic decisions.
• Document methodologies and clearly communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Internship or project experience in data analytics or machine learning.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of healthcare operations or logistics is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
