Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Extracts and transforms structured and unstructured big and small data to generate features, derive impactful insight, visualize information, and support impactful decision-making.
  • Designs and implements algorithms to provide one-off or continuously provided recommendations and support human and/or machine-led interaction and decision-making.
  • Applies best practices in modular architecture, loosely coupled design, and agile development/continuous deployment software engineering principles.
  • Demonstrates efficiency through contributing to and applying bank-wide best practices in analytics and data.
  • Develops technical architecture for data applications and analytics platforms (together with relevant agile team).
  • To implement features, algorithms, and/or insights into data applications (together with data engineers).

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in analytics functions, with banking exposure is an added advantage.
  • Effective partnering and collaboration across teams.
  • Experienced in agile development and DevOps practices.
  • Sound business understanding and ability to identify required data across solutions.
  • Technical expertise in machine learning and feature engineering.
  • Demonstrates hypothesis-driven, critical, and evaluative thinking.
