Job Purpose:

The Data Science Senior Manager leads the Data Science function, partnering with business units and Senior Stakeholders across Marketing, Customer Experience, Distribution, and Operations to deliver high impact analytics and data science use cases that drive measurable business value. The role defines and executes the Data Science strategy and roadmap, sets technical standards, and leads a team of data scientists through coaching and performance management.

The position oversees end to end analytics and machine learning solution delivery, including MLOps to ensure scalable and well governed model deployment. It drives enterprise initiatives in Acquisition, Cross-Sell, Persistency and Distribution Analytics and contributes to the design and delivery of Generative AI (GenAI) solutions to enable innovation, operational efficiency, and data driven decision making.

Education & Certification:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or any related field
• AWS/ Azure Certification is an advantage but not required.

Experience:

• 7-10 years’ experience in the field of Data Analytics
• Experience in end-to-end ML/AI model development lifecycle
• Exposure to LLMs or NLP techniques
• Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, ML libraries, Power BI
• Experience working in an AWS/Azure Cloud environment
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms and basic deep learning concepts
• Solid understanding of Trustworthy AI principles/Responsible AI principles
• Experience in documenting requirements, model builds and data lineage
• Ability to prepare results and communicate effectively at all levels
• Ability to manage team tasks
• Must be willing to learn new technologies
