About the role

Position Title: Data Science Intern
Department: Strategic Insights & Customer Intelligence / Analytics
Location: BGC, Taguig
Work Arrangement: Hybrid or On-site depending on assignment

In this role, you will contribute to the development of data-driven insights and predictive models that drive strategic business decisions. Youll support the team through data preparation, exploratory analysis, model building, and visualization - transforming complex datasets into actionable intelligence for marketing strategies, customer segmentation, and product innovation.

What the role will entail

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing large datasets from multiple sources
• Support the development of predictive and classification models using Python, SQL, or Databricks
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and correlations
• Contribute to model validation, testing, and performance evaluation
• Develop dashboards and data visualizations to communicate insights effectively
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Segments, and Cash Management to translate business problems into analytical solutions
• Document data processes, analytical methods, and findings for internal use

What we're looking for

• Must be a third or fourth-year college student or pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields
• Open to both Academic and Voluntary Internship (not required by the school)
• Not currently involved in any other internship or exchange programs
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
• Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms, feature engineering, and data pipelines
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and curiosity for uncovering insights
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
