
Our client is seeking an Data Science and Engineering Manager to join their Center for Data Analytics, Innovation, and Rigor (DAIR) team in New York City.
As part of the Center for Data Analytics, Innovation, and Rigor team, you will report to the Director, Center for DAIR. You will lead the coordination and execution of complex, large-scale AI research initiatives in mental health contexts. You will manage a team of approximately 10 data scientists and software engineers and collaborate closely with the Clinical Project Manager and project leadership, ensuring seamless collaboration and timely delivery of project milestones. You will oversee project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication, using common project management tools and methodologies. This role requires strong project management expertise, technical fluency to communicate effectively with the engineering teams that will report to you, and the ability to navigate complex research environments while maintaining alignment with project objectives and organizational goals.
This is a full-time, exempt position. A hybrid schedule will be required for employees based in the New York Tri-State area or California Bay Area, with a minimum of four (4) days per week in the office, on a schedule determined by your supervisor. Remote positions will be considered for candidates located outside of these regions The in-office requirement and schedule are subject to change based on the needs of the program and the organization. Please note: Our client is not currently able to employ individuals residing in Ohio, North Dakota, Washington, or Wyoming.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $185,000 - $225,000 USD annually.
