Following the mission to create business value at scale by leveraging data at the core of its decision-making along the value chain. It operates in close alignment with BGs, regions, and functions, and it continuously advances the analytics solutions and global setup to be effective and efficient.

Within GIT, the role of the  Group Data Office & Digital Transformation is to lead the transformation across business functions and processes. The goal particularly includes implementing  Data/AI/GenAI driven culture by  fostering innovation, expertise and business satisfaction

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Your main mission will be to assist in the following areas/subjects:

• Integrate available tabular models in support of analytics, reporting, and advanced machine learning use cases.
• Benchmark and evaluate different modeling approaches for structured/tabular datasets, ensuring performance, scalability, and robustness.
• Implement and maintain data modeling best practices (e.g., feature engineering, data preprocessing, and model validation) tailored to tabular data environments using tabular models.
• Contribute to the integration of machine learning models (including, where relevant, generative AI) with a strong emphasis on structured data pipelines and tabular use cases
• Enhance and maintain existing Data Products by improving their underlying data models, data quality, and performance.
• Develop and manage scalable data architectures supporting tabular data, ensuring proper monitoring, governance, and compliance.
• Integrate automation and advanced tools across the data product lifecycle, with a focus on improving efficiency in tabular data processing and modeling workflows

Your profile and competencies to succeed

• BAC+4/5, Engineer with robust background in data science, mathematics, statistics, physics or related field (Grandes écoles d’ingénieur)
• Fluency in English is mandatory
• Familiarity with pretrained tabular models such as TabPFN
• Strong knowledge in Machine Learning (NLP, embeddings, agentic AI, but also classification, regression, clustering methods)
• Strong knowledge in Python and PySpark
• First experience on one of the available ML/DL frameworks (scikit-learn, tensorflow/keras, etc)
• Familiar with Git and IDEs (such as pycharm, VS code)
• You enjoy communicating your findings in innovative and appealing ways
• You are autonomous, creative, and like taking initiative to test new ideas
• You are curious and determined to go the last mile
• You can learn on the fly and you like working in a team environment
