About this role
The Data Science and Analytics Intern will work with the Refrigeration Product Analytics group to develop, enhance, and deliver analytic reports to cross-functional Carrier Transicold business and product teams. This internship will focus on preparing analytical models, visualizations, and data reports that can be used to support the adoption of Carrier's digital programs and drive an enriched understanding of Carrier transportation refrigeration equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Identify trends, statistical patterns, and anomalies in data sets from transportation HVAC/R systems
Perform parameter selection for training and testing of analytic models
Develop business intelligence reports that address customer pain points
Use data to support findings and suggestions
Prepare clean and concise data plots from analytical work
Communicate findings to engineering and marketing leaders
Required Qualifications
Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field
3.0 or higher GPA
Applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge in Business Intelligence Tools (PowerBi, Tableau, Jump)
Knowledge in Python or Pyspark
